This is a little preachy:
Let's keep our Land as God has planned
Arrayed in all it's beauty
With trees so tall and lakes so blue
Should not this be man's duty?
The scenic view along the way
Is a sight that's well worth seeing.
I'm sure the beauty of it all
Was planned for the human being.
The birds that twitter in the trees
And hop from bough to bough,
Have a language that is all their own,
And understand, somehow.
The fishes in the lakes and streams
Dart here and there so graceful,
The water, rippling o're the rocks,
To one seems very restful.
The rivers man has harnessed
And changed their very flow
Are now a blessing to mankind
"Cause, Man has made it so".
I like the rythm but i when i read it i get caught in this stanza:
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">otherwise it's not to bad.The birds that twitter in the trees
And hop from bough to bough,
Have a language that is all their own,
And understand, somehow.
